Excitment

For Christmas my parents gave us, Nick and I, a weekend away. They would watch the kids for a weekend and we could do what ever we wanted! The only stipulation was that it had to be cashed in before baseball season because my dad is a coach. So we packed the van on Friday night and headed to the opposite side of the state to cash in our gift.

We got the kids settled into my parents house on Friday night, then on Saturday morning headed out to get our weekend started. After swimming, snowshoeing and watching a movie I received a call from my Dad late in the afternoon. He told me that Geremu had some exciting news, then he put Geremu on the phone. While they were out at a basketball game Geremu lost his tooth! Geremu was excited to tell me but NO ONE was more excited then Cullen!

Prior to the tooth falling out Cullen and Geremu had spilled their popcorn. The boys were wrestling thus crushing the popcorn and then Geremu ended up playfully biting Cullen on the butt. Geremu's tooth got caught on Cullen's pants and it fell out (we were told at Geremu's last dentist apt. that he had 4 loose teeth). Cullen thinks it's hysterical that "Geremu lost his tooth on my pants!" I guess Geremu was just a mess, bloody mouth, he was crying (he has never seen anyone loose a tooth before), etc. My dad was frantically searching through the crushed popcorn on the bleachers because that's where the tooth fell, I guess he had a heck of a time finding the tooth. Once my Dad found the tooth Geremu never got off of his lap, it certainly scared him a little. Cullen was in HEAVEN because loosing a tooth= "a tooth party!" I'm sure it was a site to see- LOL.

Cullen, in true Cullen fashion, went right back to my parents house after the game and made signs for the party (one of them read: Hey Tooth Fairy, Geremu is sleeping HERE!) and decorated with toilet paper in the heating vents (my mom made him move that to the furniture). My mom made brownies and they celebrated.
