Water Fight

The boys LOVE our neighbor Chris.

Today they spent time taunting him...

Before they teamed up to get him...

Although the boys are convinced they won,

I'm pretty sure Chris thinks otherwise.

Today was the first of our "summer" like weather... I hope it's here to stay!

The Wedding

This past weekend my cousin, best friend and my self proclaimed "Man of Honor" Chad got married. Chad grew up a few short blocks from me and most of my favorite childhood memories include Chad.

The morning of the wedding was spent getting ready for the festivities.

Here is the bride, Huyen, with her sister (Mai) and her parents. Huyen with her two best friends; Ly and Anu.

Chad waiting for his bride.

Seriously how much happier could they be? Love them both!

Here I am with my sisters...

The kids enjoyed dancing to the band. Cullen enjoys dancing with people, especially his cousin Johnny...

Geremu has a style of his own, which is impressive and entertaining to watch.

Here is my Uncle Jack and Aunt Kathy...They sure know how to throw a party! The events of the weekend were amazing!

Take Me Out To The Ball Game

For the last 30+ Springs my Dad has always be found on the baseball field...

In June my Dad is retiring... I'm not quite sure what that means for his coaching career. I just can't imagine him anywhere else in the spring.

After Geremu's concert last Thursday we headed to my home town to watch a night inter-city game. We met up with my sisters and all the cousins...
If grass stains are any indication of how much fun my kids had they really could not have enjoyed their time running around much more.

I'm really hoping this isn't a chubby-wubby I spy...

Geremu's Last Day of School

We've had a crazy couple of weeks with Track season and school coming to a close. I'm back blogging a little with this post from last Thursday- Geremu's last day of school. We got Cullen out of school a little early so he could watch Geremu's concert.

Geremu had been practicing the songs he sang for quite some time and if you ask his mama he was the cutest kid preforming!
After the concert he was given a plate he made before he was able to thank his teachers for a wonderful year.
From the concert we headed to my parents house for a FUN filled weekend... I'm saving that post for tomorrow.

Mother's Day

I got a 6:15 wake up call from one of my kids telling me "if you get up now you'll be my best friend." When I got out of bed I followed a trail of chocolate to find hidden bags of chocolate. No one was more excited then my two boys. Pretty sure Nick went a bit overboard with chocolate but I'm sure I'll find a way to finish it:)

So this is what my life has become...

Tonight I was brushing the boys teeth and I told them that when they were done they should rinse their toothbrushes and toss them in the garbage. Cullen (my earth day baby) LOVES to reuse and recycle things, if there is an empty container I'm tossing he is going to need that for his next experiment. Cullen said to me, "Do I have to toss my toothbrush? Can't I make it into to something else?" I asked him what he had in mind... Geremu yells, "A back scratcher!" Cullen smiles and shakes his head no. The toothbrush is soon to be a "very important part" of Cullen's homemade sailboat.

About a half hour after the boys were put in bed they came running into my room. Cullen let me know that his butt hurt. I asked him where it hurt. He proceeds to turn around while Geremu used his hand to point to various parts of Cullen's butt cheeks. There was NO RHYME or REASON to where he was pointing, he looked more like a weather man pointing out various items on a map. Cullen explained that it was "a lot like a maze... It hurts a little bit in lots of different places." I gave him the advice to sleep on his stomach and sent the two of them on their way.

The stuff they come up with is entertaining to say the least.

April Showers Bring....

So April was off to a great start. Earlier this month we were able to have a campfire and enjoy some time with the neighbors.

Our babysitter (who is AMAZING) took Geremu to the farm...

And has spent lots of time crafting spring projects with him...

Then today, April 20th, we woke up to a 2-hour snow delay.

Which made for a FUN morning of egg dying. The boys are bending down because they were worried that I would not get their eggs in the picture with them. Don't worry the eggs made the picture!

They were tuckered out as usual tonight.
