Lambeau Field

We spent a little time today with Beth, Pat and Erica in GB and had a great time. Stopped first at Lambeau to see Beth as she was getting done with work. She took us on a first class tour of the place. It was so much fun! The boys had a great time. Here are some pictures of that part of the afternoon.
Here is Geremu with Beth!
Boys in the rain checking out the field.
The boys loved watching the workers prep the field.
After leaving Lambeau we went to meet Erica's BF, he was just finishing up his shift at the fire house. When Cullen heard we would be stopping by the fire house he insisted on taking his fire outfit. We ended up getting the grand tour of the place and each boy left with a bag of goodies. They LOVED the fire station so much.
The boys were so excited that Dad got to reap the benefits of their enthusiasm.
Then it was off to Happy Joe's to meet Patrick, he even dressed up for us! Cullen was so excited to see Patrick. Both boys loved all the games and fun things to do while waiting for dinner.
Check out the taco pizza- YUMMO!!!
We are so lucky to have so many wonderful people in our lives.
I hope someday the boys realize just how lucky we are!

Boys Night Out

I needed to get a bit of work done tonight so Nick took the boys out hiking after dinner. I gave him the camera with instructions to take some pictures. This is what I got before the batteries ran out on the camera. Good thing Nick has long arms otherwise someone might have gotten cut out.

Wedding

My cousin Eileen got married this Saturday so we headed south for the wedding. It was nice to see so many relatives and the wedding was really nice. Best food I've ever had at a wedding, the veggies were done to perfection (wish I had a recipe like that). I also wish I had taken more pictures.

One quick story, we were outside the church before the wedding and my mother and Aunt Madalyn were talking to Cullen. They both kept asking him for kisses and after about 5 kisses he looks at both of them and says, "I can't keep doing dis all night." Needless to say every time one of them passed him they would steal kisses- here is a video of them in action.

Geremu and Cullen were given a Mother dog and baby puppies from my cousin Maureen, they LOVE the dogs! Both of them slept with a puppy last night. Here they are this morning still playing with the dogs (Cullen is pretending to be a dog). This is what happens after birthday decorations come down- they boys decorate each other!
One last random picture from tonight.

Happy 2nd Birthday Geremu!

Geremu turned 2 today! He didn't totally understand what was going on but that didn't stop us from celebrating! This afternoon when Geremu went down for his nap Cullen helped me decorate the kitchen for his birthday. The entire time we were decorating Cullen kept saying, "Dis is so fun Mom, Geremu's gonna love it!" Our friends Billy, Katie and their kids came over for dinner to help us celebrate the day. We ended up having a great time.

Here is a picture of Cullen hard at work, getting the windows all ready.
Here's a picture of our hard work, you can't see all the signs Cullen made but take my word for it they were cute.
When Geremu woke up from his nap he was a bit crabby until we brought him downstairs. When he saw the decorations he just stared at them. Then because Cullen was so excited he got excited too but I'm pretty sure he didn't know the excitement was for him.
We spent a good portion of the afternoon outside enjoying the cool weather. Here Geremu is pulling along one of his favorite toys.Geremu and Cullen opening a gift, Geremu let Cullen help him open all of them. Geremu's new puppy that Cullen picked out for him. He loves it and now Cullen gets back his old puppy that Geremu had in a previous picture.
The birthday boy with his dirt cake. He ended up getting scared of the candles so Carson and Cullen took care of blowing them out for him.
The boys enjoying their cake.
One last shot of the b-day boy.

Back to School

Today both Nick and me started back at school. The summer was GREAT and hard to see it come to an end but it will also be nice to get back to a schedule. The boys had two days at the sitters last week when we had staff development and it went well. I'm not back full time yet, I'm only working two days this week then three days starting next week through October.

After school today we went for a walk to enjoy the warm weather, here are some pictures.

Geremu loves to run and he is pretty quick but check out this form... He looks like Phoebe from "Friends".
It's almost like is arms are weightless, they kind of float in the air. It's so darn cute! A few more random pictures from the beautiful day
Did I ever mention that I once had an Aunt tell me that she, "never thought I would grown into my teeth"? Perhaps from the picture below you can clearly see why someone would say that to me. Giddy-up, NEIGH....
